This page will be linked to different stories from my years of teaching. Every teacher gets those “experiences” that will stick with them the rest of his or her life, and I have quite a few. You don’t teach at an impoverished school in the Appalachian mountains without accumulating quite a few memorable experiences.
After sharing some of these tales with my husband and family members, they decided I should write a book. I’ve considered it, but I have ultimately decided to share them here because, who knows, maybe there are teachers who can relate. These memories have quite the range: from being hilarious to having very serious conversations. For anyone who chooses to read, I hope you laugh, are inspired, and most importantly, encouraged.
